Title says it all, looking for a new manual flipper for under $100. Will be used mostly for EDC so let me here some suggestions!

Thanks in advance

For the money the Buck vantage isn't bad. That can be had for under $50. It has a deep carry clip and you get Buck's warranty. I also like the kershaw skyline for about the same money as the vantage.

Probably the Skyline in carbon fiber with S30v steel. I think it's close to that. Great ergos on that knife but I can't stand the steel on the cheaper ones but the S30v version should be outstanding.

Maybe the Boker urban trapper; at least four variations available and a great flipper IMO.

Kershaw Junkyard Dog II worth a look.

Yup and Rake. Users can be found under $50. Zt 0566 ive seen nib go under $100. They used to sell for around $85 on certain sites. Their up there in price at the moment . I really like the Kershaw Rake for an assisted flipper. Smooth, solid, good steel, dirt cheap. prefer a 0566 over it though.

If you're ok with a large, heavy knife, CRKT Foresight is a fantastic flipper. I was impressed with it's action from the get go but after I had to tighten the clip, which entails opening it up, I cleaned and oiled it and wow! so smooth! No it's not my favourite knife, and for me it's too big and heavy to edc but it's a great flipper and falls in your budget, (mine cost $80 new). CRKT has a number of other flippers for under and around $100 too.

I have a Kershaw Link on the way, for which I paid $36 shipped. I'll let you know in a week. :D

Look up the Kershaw link it's not expensive and holds a edge like crazy. Feels great in the hand sturdy and flips pretty fast.

Buck 830 Marksman

100% agree - probably the fastest flipper I have ever owned. You just have to get used to the strap lock, if you can do that the Marksman is a fantastic value.

The CRKT M16-03S I just received is also a very good flipper for less than $60.

Love the Kershaw junkyard dog - if you don't like the composite blades bladehq has some of the plain bladed ones that have grey G10 scales. Top notch design and execution.

Kershaw Knockout in Elmax is one of my favorites, the less premium steel version can be had for around $70.00, also have a couple CRKT M-16s .

If you could stretch it a tiny bit further to $160 you could have an amazing knife from carson tech labs. They make this. It has a sealed bearing system and one of the best actions i have ever had. They are made in china but most carsons start at three hundred. These are awesome. But if you budget is firm then crkt foresight is cool if you like black and dont mind tip down carry only. Very smooth knife. If you find a first production run thise have a better blade steel. Those are about eighty to a hundred depending on the dealer. Ive seen 0560s go for $100-120 used but llike new by zt. Those are nice.

Chiming in on the composite blade JYD. Personally feel that is one of the great deals under 100$ bought a co worker one and an off brand 6" diamond plate for 100$.
He is happy as hell and keeps a nice edge on it. Another converted knife nut.

EDC is subjective but for me the skyline is an awesome knife. No so big as to be intimidating and a great slicer. Go for the S30v model of you want the best steel currently in that line up. The standard model is definitely the best value however.

What's your intended daily tasks?

If you have a certain kind of membership on a site named after a famous river, the Kershaw Nura 3.5 is currently under $20 where it is normally $30+. It has caged ball bearings and is super sweet. I actually just ordered one...
