Best folder for $50-60?

Hey guys... looking to advise a friend with this budget a decent folder for the money... Any advise/links? Would prefer straight edge (that I will put a toothy edge on) but serrations are fine if efficient. Right now I am in between on a Spyderco Delica (vg10 - ~$60) or a CRKT My Tighe (w/ veff serrations - ~$45). I believe the spyderco's steel is better than the CRKT steel, but I would like input. I know I love my para 2, but that is way out of price range.

I love the Spyderco Delica and highly recommend it. I'm not sure what your friend expects from his knives, but another great alternative to the Delica is the Centofante 3... Steel, handle materials, weight and cost are all within the same ballpark, but the C3 just seems a little more gentlemanly.

The Buck Vantage Pro sounds like something he would like. For 50$ with S30V steel it's a great knife.

Cold steel recon 1, ak47 or lawman. Spyderco anything in Vg10 or native, Sog trident, kershaw blur, camillus anything in vg10.
 
If you really want the Para2, don't waste money on something you are non-plus on. Take that money and save $20 a month for the next 2-3 months and you'll have the knife you really want. Take this advise for any purchase.

Delica. Great knife at an excellent price, so it makes a great gift/advice knife for someone who isn't a knife junkie. Though it will probably turn your friend into a knife junkie.
 
I agree but the whole is bigger than usual so u can open it with gloves easier, but I don't wear gloves lol so I picked a griptilian up recently and it's fabulous

thanks guys for all the suggestions! I ended up recommending the Delica... I love spyderco so I guess I am just biased lol. Found one on ebay for $45 free shipping!
 
You can score the combo edge Delica at Cutlery Shoppe right now for $40 and free shipping. Just got one for my father in law.
