Welcome to BF! Best for what? What are you going to use the knives for? Are any of them going to be used for EDC? And have your tried using the SEARCH button?

I like to carry large knives, so the Cold Steel Voyager with 5- or 6-inch blade is one that's a good bargain; also the Vaquero Grande 5- or 6-incher. For over $100, I recommend any knife manufactured by Benchmade or Spyderco. The blades on the latter, however, are a bit smallish for my taste.

Also under a hundred, the Cold Steel Gunsite w/5-inch blade is a good overall knife. Ebay's the best place to pick them up.

$100 - $200
- Benchmade 707/710/610/615
- Spyderco Manix/Paramilitary/Military
- Emerson CQC 7/10/12/15
Above $300

I love my SOG Pentagon Elite II. The SOG Tomcat is a great knife, too, although somewhat heavy in your pocket. The SOGwinder is a smaller knife with a design similar to the Tomcat.

under $100 - Spyderco Delica / Endura, Benchmade Grip / Mini Grip

$100 - $200 - almost too many great knives to mention in this range but - Buck Mayo TNT, Benchmade 710, Emerson CQC-7, Spyderco Military / Paramilitary ect, ect, ect...

$300+ - CRK Sebenza / Small Sebenza, CRK Mnandi, Stirder SMF / SnG / PT

Honerable mention to the Emerson HD-7 that (at $250) doesn't fit into any of your price ranges.

Also if you are interested in autos, make sure to check out Dalton's, they are the bomb.

Benchmade Griptilian, Axis Lock and highly regarded
Cold Steel AK-47, Axis like lock, big and tough
Kershaw Groove, well made and looks so cool, frame lock
Kershaw Junk Yard Dog II, I ordered it due to excellent reviews, haven't got it yet.

$100 to $200
Benchmade 710:thumbup: :thumbup:I've had mine for over 7 years, just excellent
Benchmade Mini-Rukus, great steel and a good design, looks high end.
Spyderco Chinook, built like a tank and it is big
Ontario Hossum Retribution, beautifully made, high finish, love the blade shape
