Me and a buddy made a couple of these "Duct tape Dummies" a while back and they are great for knife throwing. We like to use bowies for throwing so now if we miss, theres very little chance to hurt the knife/guard/Handle and the results are pretty funny -

I bet that gets some worried looks down at the park.

Weirdest target? In 1984, we used a gigantic plastic three-dimensional Kool Aid guy for archery.

He lasted seconds, unfortunately, and we had a ton of sharp plastic bits to clean up on the range after.

Your solution requires no clean up, I imagine.

They are stuffed with mostly newspaper. old towels for the legs. They take about 2 Big rolls of duct tape to make.

That Kool Aid guy sounds awesome. When I was about 14 I started learning how to throw knives and I beat up just about every tree in my backyard. and broke the handles and brass guards of about 15 cheap budk type bowie knives. If I had one of these back then it would have saved quite a few cheap knives and saved me from getting in trouble with my dad about screwing up a bunch of trees lol!

That definitely would make a nice appearance on the news :) Keep it hidden :D

I spent many many hours as a kid throwing at a big plug in plastic santa. It as a very heavy duty plastic, and took literally thousands and thousands of throws before we finally threw it a way.

Good times!
