I got a bow coming to me in hopes of becoming a descent enough shot before bow season and having everything else ready too. I still need a camera or two to put in different spots to see where the deer are. Also need a two man stand. The cheapest one Ive seen is a Big Dog Pointer 18 Foot Two Man. Has anybody had a Big Dog stand? I might even get two stands and put them in different spots. As for the cameras have dont really have one in mind yet. I dont need the camera to do anything crazy. Just be able to take pics at like 30-50 yards, have a flash, water proof would be great. AA batteries would be prefered to run on. Thanks

I have 6 ladder stands.2 were over $200 on sale the others were $100.There is a big difference between the $100 and the $200+ stands.Much sturdier and a lot more comfortable. As far as trail cameras most sense to 30 to 60 or so feet.I have owned several the only one I would not buy again is Wild Game Innovations.

I have a bushnell HD trail cam I love, it takes beautiful pictures and videos and was only $150 I believe . the IR light can also be adjusted so when animals are very close and night they don't turn white from the flash. it is water proof with a loop for a small lock on the door. it also takes AA batteries (6). I use the Duracell lithium batteries, put them in 2 years ago and they still are going strong even after thousands of pictures. ReconX are the best trail cams out there but cost about $500, there are also a couple different ones that will send the pictures to your cell phone. cant recall which ones they are but im sure they will also be pricey. cant say much about the tree stands because I usually build my own

Found out yesterday there are trail cameras that will send images right to your phone. That sounds like the way to go. Around 3-4x as much as as a cheap basic one. Might get one though.I got a Scoutguard SG560-8M Red IR*I bought last nightheading here. takes 8mp pics and can sense out to 85 ft. Hopefully it will. Got it for $66 shipped. Think im going to buy two older model moultrie camers also for $100 for 2 of them. I think I might build a stand and buy a descent two man ladder stand, might even build two different stands. One by the river and one by a potato field. Ill set up the ladder stand back in the woods.
