You see my trusted garment bag of 17 years is going fast and the maker is long since defunct.

My vote goes for this...

Blackhawk's garment bag.
Dimensions: Garment Bag: 4" x 25" x 5"
Shoe pouch: 22 x 11"
Flap pouches: 19" x 3" and 19" x 10"
Outer Pockets: 21" x 15" x 2.5" / 16" x 13" x 2.5" / 16" x 8" x 2

I've had nothing but good luck with Blackhawk gear (hence the home based buisness - pays for my "addiction" :) )

I have 2 bags I use as luggage right now and can say that they are absolutely bullet (and airline) proof.

Have fun!

Dan

Seems like you can always count on a <a href="http://smtp2.thewwwstore.com/filson/270.HTM">Filson</a>.

Tumi Trifold (it folds in 3 instead of half). It ALWAYS fits in any overhead compartment and can carry enough business attire for 4 days comfortably.

Very durable as well.

My vote goes for the Blackhawk "CIA Garment Bag". Besides being bombproof and versatile, it's also extremely cool.

I've carried a Hartmann bag (www.hartmann.com) for 8 years and more miles that I can count and it has served me well. Regardless of which one you pick, go for black to hide the inevitable stains (just what do they carry in those airline baggage areas anyway?).

I have some Shooting Systems luggage in black ballistic nylon. Looks like new after 8 years on normal use. Only down side it comes in early Ford colours: black or black. I would buy again.

The answer is easy...... FILSON "May as well have the best" Their motto, and the absolute truth. No, I don't work for them, just have a ton of their stuff... including luggage. All of it is the best.

I will second the suggestion for the Patagonia bag - I have had one for 4 years and they are great. I have done extensive trips by plane and never had a problem with the bag.

Regards,

Ed
