So Valentines day was pretty awesome for my girlfriend and I. I get her a box of chocolates, wine, crackers cheese, and all sorts of stuff like that. She gets me a Cold Steel Ghurka Kukri!

half your luck.

i got my usual sense of lonliness and frustration that tends to accompany National Singles Awareness Day (aka: Feb 14).

Lucky guy. I usually get nothing. I will go out and spend a little somthing on my own. How did she know what you liked? Or did you tell her. My buddies would buy me a China made POS before anything like this.

I was watching Nutnfancy's video on the Kukri and she was like "Oh wow, I like that one!" I told her I did too, fast forward a few months and its now in my collection.

Good job on her part! It must have taken a bit of research to figure out exactly what knife that was, and then she had to find a place to buy it, and make sure it was the right one. For most of us here on these forums, that is like three clicks of the mouse, but for someone who doesn't know knives, that would take a bit of research. Congrats on having such an awesome GF!

Wow...is it the San Mai III version or SK-5? Either way, awesome girlfriend you got there! She's definitely a keeper!
