Best handle on a blade 2.5" or less?

I'm looking for some opinions on folders under 2.5" or less. Which folder under 2.5" has the best handle? I'm having trouble finding a good one. Ideally, I'd like a Delica handle with a 2.5" blade but it seems knife companies always make small blades have equally small handles.

The Delica does have a 2.5 inch blade by my standards. It says it's bigger on the site, but they're counting the tang. When I measured the actual edge it looked like 2.5 inches. Same for the Spyderco Phoenix.

After measuring my FRN Delica I can definitely vouch for your post. The cutting edge is exactly 2 1/2" long. Ya learn something new every day on Blade Forums! :D

agree with the scallion, not the biggest handle but it locks in your hand. Great A/O too.

Why not buy a Delica and shorten the blade to <2.5"? I assume this is for legal reasons, but perhaps a shorter blade meets your practical needs better. Remove steel from the spine side so the edge is fully in the handle when folded. Be careful not to overheat while modifying.

Tom Krein could probably customize a knife to fit your needs. It would probably be pretty reasonable. He used to charge something like 10-15 for blade reshaping that did not require a regrind. A Spyderco Tenatious would probably be a good starting point...
