Was wondering what your opinion is on best makers in a price range. Ya I know, highly subjective, but I figure it would give me some ideas on where to look next for my next "new knife fix". (it's only an addiction if you're trying to quit).

For the sake of conformity, use 3 price ranges.
0-$50.
$50 - $100
$100 +
Ya I know, there is going to be a lot of overlap, with manufacturers covering the full spectrum of prices. So put it in terms of who you have, or would not hesitate to buy in that price range.

From my collection, I've been very pleased with the following:
0-$50 - Kershaw folders definitely, Old Timer fixed blade (the Lil Finger),

$50-$100 - Boker et al, both folders and fixed (love 'em) Moki fixed blade,

$100 + Arno Bernard fixed blade. Wish I could afford several!

And for those who want even higher, I'd spend some lotto winnings on a Loveless or two. :-)

Less than 50 Rat 1 in D2
50-100 CS American Lawman
Over 100 Manix 2 S110V

$0-$20 Ganzo anything
$20 to $50 Ruike anything
$50 to $100 Cold Steel anything in XTP, Recon, AL, Holdout, Talwar, Broken Skull, etc...

Best in under 50$ would probably have to be Victorinox.
I love buck, but Victorinox pretty much has the most consistent knives you'll ever find.
I've got the only Vic with a defect that I've ever heard of, and it's so minor. The edge on the very tip of the main blade contacts the backspring, you can only notice it if you really pay attention and even then it's hard to see and it affects nothing.

$100 + (just over $100, in most cases) category goes to Danijel Haramina, known here on BF as Malanika. His custom puukot are outstanding.

Zieg

$0-50 Real Steel H6 series
$50-100 Manix 2, WE value series, Kizer Vanguard series, Kershaw Blur & Camber
$100 + Paramilitary 2, Domino, Military ZT 0562 &0452 Spyderco Gail Bradley 2, Military

These are the ones I have had:

0-50: Cold Steel Voyager large aus8a, RAT 1

50-100: Spyderco Manix 2 lightweight bd1, Delica 4 zdp-189, Dragonfly 2 zdp-189

100-200: Spyderco Military s30v, 204p, Ti, PM2 s30v, Manix 2 s110v, Benchmade Ritter m390, 710-1401, 810-1401, 940-1501, ZT 0200, 0562, 0801, 0909

200+: ZT 0452, 0561, 0562cf, Hinderer xm-18, Reate Horizon D
