Wow, haven't posted here since ... 1999
Was a lurker then, too.
Anyway, I've seen a similar thread, but not quite, so I'll risk it:
Which internet dealer is the best for shipping factory knives to Norway? (Not in the EU, but Europe none the less)
I'm looking for a dealer that offers:
- Good prices (duh!)
- Large selection of factory "tactical" folders
- Serious, good reputation
- Credit card pref.
- Send as gift to avoid tax/toll
- Fast service
I've bought knives from the US in the past, and was very happy with that experience. Bought a MadDog ATAK II from Les Robertson (shipped as "camping tool"
) and a RJ Martin Kozuka.
But where to order factory folders? I've contacted Glasshartt for Spyderco, but I have also been looking at other brands, so I would be thankful for any tips.
Apart from the ATAK and Kozuka, other American knives that I am very happy with is the Benchmade AFCK (fits my hand like it was designed just for me) and Spyderco Civilian (scary!). These I bought here at home, and were just a _little_ bit too expencive ($240 for the Civilian).
Still wear my Helle or Brusletto for serious work, though!
Btw, if there is anyone here also active on TheFiringLine, I'm NonServiam there. Bought more guns than knives last couple of years ...
