best joint lube for an edc slippy?

well I guess the title just about says it all.. I'm looking for a food safe lubricant for a slipjoint that sees daily use..

Also I brush the joints ou tlightly with an old toothbrush every night to keep the junk out of the moving parts.. but how often should you lube a an edc blade? thanks in advance.

I use militec 1 on everything, guns, knives,cars. you can get small bottles cheap and they last forever.

Food safe= mineral oil.
Just a drop every now and then. Maybe every 2-3 weeks, then wipe dry.
