Best karambit blade shape for utility

Hey guys, I just wanted to see if anyone had any experience with the bullnose/commander/cqc7 style blades on the karambit, specifically regarding utility. Anybody carry/use one or more of these blade shapes? Have any thoughts on how useful these shapes are, and what tasks they excel in?

Truth be told, I'm already kind of leaning towards the commander shape, most unique in my mind, nice little slicey belly, usually love recurves, though the point looks a bit wedgy/not as acute as something like the bullnose...

Drop point (bullnose) is pretty much the standard utilitarian blade shape. The commander recurve would be harder to sharpen, and the traditional hawkbill of the karambit would be best for pull cuts like rope/cord, maybe opening boxes (tape), I've seen some people say they cut carpet with their (non-Emerson) karambits.

There's a well known maker (will not name since this is the Emerson forums, but you can easily find them) that makes a very utilitarian blade that's quite popular and also has a signet ring attachment for karambit style grip, if you're looking for an EDC knife.

Thanks for weighing in! I think I know the other knife/brand you speak of, and I considered it at one point. However, I've been carrying an Emerson combat karambit for years now, but as a backup/defensive option, not doing any utility tasks. So what im looking to do now, is have a second kbit on me for utility, and since im such a sucker for the Emerson designs, I really couldn't entertain the idea of another manufacture.

Anyways I got a good deal on a bundle, cqc, the bullnose, and the commander, they should be arriving today! So im going to weigh my options once I get them in hand, pick one and probably sell the other two.

Ill check back in once Ive made the final decision and post some pics.
