Hey guys I'm trying to choose a good knife for 120 bucks or under i know there are a lot of options but I would like your guys opinion thanks.

THIS approach might help you narrow it down a little. There is no such thing as best unless you define what you mean by best. :)

Well by best i mean best quality for the money best materials best everything I'm very versatile with my knives i can carry a super heavy knife and another day i can carry a super light small knife so the knife dosent matter just want a opinion and what u guys recommend.

Might want to try a Caly 3.5 by Spyderco. Got mine for $98.00. I'm sure if you lurk around the Sale forum you might land one even cheaper, although I haven't seen them come up to often since I been lurking. Lol

Picking the best steel can be just a matter of research, but handle material and blade shape are matters of preference. Is there anything that really appeals to you?

Its probaly hard to give give a answer because iknow its presence for the most part but I really dont have a preference i like tanto drop point clip point sheepsfoot warnsclif dosent matter to me and handel plastic g10 none of that matter either as long as the knife itself isn't total crap i really dont care lol

Well my favorite knife is the manix 2 xl and its right around that price range. Other good options are para 2, manix 2, zdp-189 stretch and endura, benchmade griptilian, the upcoming kershaw blur in elmax, zt 0200, 0350 are all I can think of.

10 mora's..... jk but it was bound to be said eventually. esee 4 on a more serious note or maybe something from sykco in sr101... cant vouch personally for sykco but my esee 4 is great... also leaves enough left over for an SAK for pocket carry..

in that case I love my mini grip though it does take a bit of re profiling to get the edge great and it gunks up with pocket debris sometimes. really like my Kershaw chill for edc its super light and slim/ easy one handed opening and closing.

edited to say I don't have any folders of higher price than these as 80 ish is the max I can personally justify to date for a folder. the Kershaw chill is a great 20$ edc. so is any SAK I find myself using the can opener all the time.

Best blade steel would hands down be the Spyderco Manix 2 Lightweight S110V.
