IT HAS TO BE FOLDING!!!
preferably under 5oz but ill see

Benchmade 940 and 950 are both knives I would recommend. 950 is right at $150 on average and the 940 is a bit more. I think the 950 is a better value but the 940 is more convenient size for EDC.

Hogue ex01 if you look hard you can find one for around $130 for the "4 blade. Less for the other handel materials and shorter blades.

benchmade 810 contego I hear you can get these for around $150 I paid $180 for mine. if thats to big 950 rift or onslaught.

Probably the sharpest thing out of box I've ever bought, shy of a Feather razor blade. And lookit them curves!

Right around the $150 mark. Good luck getting one now if you get a hankering. I hear Kuo's got a few years' waiting list now.
 
I also suggest the Benchmade 950 Rift. Especially if you don't have an AXIS lock yet. They can be had for $122 if you know of a knife store that works for you. You can also get it with a solid black G10 handle or a black and gray layered handle if you want something that is a little different.

Good recommendation. The Rift 950 is a fantastic EDC.

I know where you can get the 810 Contego for $136 shipped and the 950 Rift for $124 shipped. The 275 Adamas is $127 shipped from the same place, and even the awesome 581 Barrage (M390 blade, G10 scales with aluminum bolsters) for $146 shipped (don't think I can post the name since they aren't a paid sponsor).
