Best knife for altoids kit

I am thinking about what knife to put into my mini-kit. From what I see, most people only put razor blades into their altoids kit, but I would rather have something with a handle. I was thinking about a single blade SAK, or something comparable. Any suggestions? I just don't want it to take up too much room.

I'm going to try these

Thought I read here somewhere that Victorinox makes em. Nice for the price.

Rigormootis,
Where did you find your tobacco tin? I called the local smoke shop and they said they don't make the metal kind with the gasket anymore. Also, do you have a picture of it next to the Altoids tin for a size comparison?

the tobacco might be useful.
Light up a cig or some in a pipe, and get some ambers going.

Another vote for the Leaherman Micra for minimum bulk. The Smallest SAKs such as the "classic" model sould serve about as well (one of these with the built-in LED option could serve as both a knife and a light, and might be more compact overall). If space is not too tight you could go with a larger SAK, as the Last Confederate suggested. Another option is a small lock back such as the Meyerco "scamp".

Some of you may find this hard to believe but I put a CR Umfaan in my tobacco tin kit. It is a great little knife but I found I didn't carry it much because of my small Sebenza. It sat in the top drawer for a while and then I said what the heck. Now it sits in a small survival kit.

FWIW

Hmm...I haven't smoked tobacco out of a tin an a while. The kind I used for my kit was a gift from my mother-in-law...but I sanded off the label when I converted the tin. I'll check into places that may still sell it in tins (although I agree with 'Outdoors' in that you can still find brands that come in tins).

rnpollard,
I think that is actually smart. If you already had it then it makes sense to put it to use. I am sure that is about the sturdiest knife of that size. It makes sense to buy the best equipment you can afford, especially for something like a survival kit.

While looking for some info on Cold Steel for a co-worker I noticed that CS is now making some SAk style knives trhat cost less than $12.Has anyone seen these knives. Cold Steel is usualyy pretty good stuff for the money. These might be a cheap alternative if they are any good.
