Best knife/light combo for $50.00

I'm thinking a lot of people would go for Buck 110 and Mini-mag. Both are proven and rock-solid. There are a lot of new tech candidates that are a more modern option. What do you consider new low-buck state of the art? We could also bump this up to a hundred dollars, which might bring in some of the aristocrats. I'll do that now so there aren't any elite factions.

100 bucks? I would get the same light, the thing is way too bright in even the worst situations and its small enough to always have, so that gives you 80 dollars to buy a mini grip or endura or whatever fits your taste. you can get a zd189 endura for just over 80 dollars in brg.
