So I was with my parents in San Diego the other day, and on recommendation I stopped by Dennis Wright Knives and Sporting Goods. Wow! I've never seen such a well stocked and overall wonderful knife store. Anyway, after handling a few knives (including some of the long awaited members of the Chris Reeve line) and deciding to buy a Spyderco Howard Viele for myself, my knifehating mother (who regualarly reminds that she will have nothing to do with my knife obsession) decides to purchase for me a Chris Reeve Sebenza with maple inlays!!! Who knows what inspired her. The Sebenza is the finest folder I've ever seen, each time I pick it up I like it more than before, a truly exquisite knife. This was without question my best knife store experience...ever.

Outside of helping with my college tuition, I don't think my parents every dropped that much on me at one time. Congradulations. Will they buy me one????

It is not the fall that kills you. It is the realization that "yes, you did something that stupid."

I would also like to be adopted!!
Congratulations. I really like that knife. Sebenza look much less naked with the wood.

Way to go Solomon! I know why your Mom bought you the wood inlay; it's because it looked so good.

This event was completely unprecedented. In this post are some pictures of my knife that Dennis Wright took a little while ago--www.bladeforums.com/ubb/Forum29/HTML/000494.html

Now you know why they have Mothers Day. Be sure she knows that you love and appreciate her. My mom died suddenly while I was off at college. I missed my chance, don't miss yours.
