Hey guys!

Just joined this group and I wanted to introduce myself.
I live in Canada and I'm in college at the moment. Since I go to school full time, i had to find a part time job to help pay my tuition. I just started this new job where I have to sell knives. That may sound weird but it's actually pretty awesome! I get to meet new people and play around with knives! lol I love it! I never realized how cool knives were until I hooked up with this company. I don't know if you guys ever heard of Cutco but omg their knives are the best!

Here's just a glimpse of what they have:

A sexy Kabar ;)

A beautiful fisherman's knife that is adjustable in length and comes apart for cleaning

And Super Shears so powerful that they cut through pennies and dimes. (I personally own that one and my boyfriend owns the Kabar and a pocket knife. I also have a kitchen set for cooking and I realized that those knives that I was actually using before in my kitchen were rip-offs! Cutco's knives have specially designed handles to make gripping and holding easier and the steel is stainless and carbon so it's really good quality. They don't dull out very quickly or break. Plus, it's forever guaranteed so wtv issues u have, u'll get another one for free. And last but not least, Cutco sharpens your knives for free! The investment in Cutco is totally worth it.)

*P.S. these video reviews are not from Cutco reps but from genuine customers*

Anyways, I just wanted to share my experience with the best knives i've ever owned with you all ;). If any of you ever had cutco and is looking for more products or is interested in buying or who knows someone who is interested, please let me know. :)

You don't have to buy anything (although it would be GREATLY appreciated ;) ), I get paid $15 per demo just for showing the products (but only one on one so showing in this group doesn't count); i'm not exactly selling you. Just sharing. But if one of you guys would looove to help this poor girl pay her tuition fees lol, please contact me :p

I can give you a discount and help you get those products listed up there for free :)

This will not end well.

It will end as soon as a mod sees it. :D

First, welcome to the forums.

Second - and what I think is going to make people cringe about this thread - "Registered Users" advertising specific products that they sell/have an interest in is unlikely to go down well. I am guessing there are some rules against it. I don't know specifics because I don't advertise here, but you may want to look into it. The word "spam" comes to mind.
This looks like you're enthusiastic about your new job and see throwing some ads on here as a good way to attract business and increase your commission - if that's the case I think you're dead wrong. It's unlikely to end well. I have no doubt a mod will be on shortly to clarify.

I do hope you stick around as a genuine member though. It's always good to see new people who find they're passionate about quality sharp stuff :)

A good friend of mine bought one of those CUTCO Ka-Bar Explorers and he couldn't be happier with it. He's dispatched numerous hogs with it. I don't have the heart to tell him he WAY over-paid for that thing.

I'm just getting a kick out of the fillet knife review you posted where the guide hates pretty much every single feature of it.

Do stick around, we're all here because we agreed that knives ARE really cool, but you might want to spend a few minutes familiarizing yourself with the forum rules and poking around to see what usually goes on around here.

You want to be selling those things to people who don't know anything about knives. Wrong audience. Have any sabenzas you want to give away?

Wow. I almost did the cutco thing last year.

Believe me, the op is doing this 100% because they think it will help sales and cutco has this ridiculous marketing plan.

Yeah, they have a good warranty. But everyone here knows that's it.

I'm sorry to the op if you were sincerely just excited. But if you were you have been had, and I doubt you posted simply to share knowledge. If you would have done a simple search of the term "cutco" you would have seen it has been well discussed and you would not very a good response. At least skim the rules on advertising.

They actually tell you to play up the "poor college student paying my tuition" shtick.

I think the responses so far tell the tale. We have rules here about advertising, which I will send you. Our community is well aware of Cutco, the good and the bad. They don't match our standards, generally speaking, however many times we get new visitors who hope they will.

I am closing this thread.
