Best Kukri size

A number of factors come into play as you answer this question for yourself. Among the important questions are:

How big are you?
What size are your hands?
How strong are you?
What kind of chopping is anticipated?
What are your desires as far as weight and dimensions. (Does it need to fit in a daypack? Are you going to pack it up hills?)
 
I have small hands and can handle the Ang Kola 15" quite well. I also have the 18" UBE as shown in the H.I. web page and its a bit heavy for me to carry around all day but it's a chopping fool!!!
As Cliff says....get the biggest one you can handle but Bill Marino of Hymilayan Imports best seller is the Ang Kola 15".
Be warned,though, once you have one you will want more!!!
