I need a good larger folder under 5 inches this will be mainly for utility and possibliy self defense size handle and blade steel is not a issue i would like to order it from one of these sites blade fourms, knife center, blade ops, amazon or knife art. or buy locally. already have the ontario rat one and spyderco tencious. I was thinking about the s&w stiletto but i dont really like S&W my current edc is brouse blades silent soilder neck knife. but i have big folders like Smf,Zt's etc but dont want to beat them up do bad. thank you and have a good day.
ps i have lots of high end knives just dont want to beat on them.:D:D

What do you want to be able to do with it that you can't already do with the Tenacious or RAT-1?

Dude you crazy, why spend all the moneys if your not going to use'em. Say you get yourself into a survival situation, would you rather be carrying a 30 dollar large folder or a zt 560?

Something to beat on, why not get a fixed blade? Thirty dollars buys a nice hunk of steel from Condor.

Or spend the $30 to buy something of good quality that maybe fills a void in your uses. Victorinox?

Good luck.

Large tough folder on the cheap? Cold Steel Pocket Bushman. I EDC one and it's a tank without suffering from "sharpened crowbar syndrome." Wonderful knife, though it's not for everyone.

Go get yourself a mora You can find them for about $10-$20 and they are the best fixed blade for the money
I can't say enough great things about them.
They are just fantastic knives.
Buy one:D

Rat 1 is my first choice. I also like some of the CRKT's like the Razzle and the Crawford/Casper. If you can get a Lake Thunderbolt (the big one) they are built strong too. I EDC a Kershaw Blur- You can pick up a blem from Kershaw guy for about $30

Here's one

It solved the problem for me of not bein able to afford a300 series ZT. The blade is stout, the lock up is 80% and the handle fits the biggest hands.its super sharp and it weighs 9.8 oz.it rides everywhere with me. I also bought the spiraling demise that's a sweet blade 2. There quality is. Far above what there street price is.......when fins allow I'm getting the whole line. They have some sweet fix blades with kydex sheaths four under $50. Bad blood knives. It's more product for the money...

+3 for the Tremor. Got mine on WOOT.com for $17. I think amazon sells it for less than $25 and its a big awesome knife that opens up fast.
