my dad needs a good source for leather for making sheaths/holsters/scabbards.

he's in the san fernando valley, but is open to taking a trip to find the best quality leather for making sheaths.

anyone know the best places for leather?

^^yep, they're still there, but they only have garment leathers, not holster or sheathworthy stuff.. thanks for the tipoff though.
