I would like to find a bag that I can carry my MOLLE medic pouch on and that can accommodate basic survival tools EDC equipment like my leatherman tissues hand sanitizer. etc. I would like the bag to be able to be carried comfortably while riding a bike. Im on a bit of a budget and i was looking into the red rock rover but i cant seem to find it anywhere. So dose anyone know a good light to medium duty EDC bag similar to the red rock rover or the maxpedition remora? I really like these designs they seem very comfortable. I'm currently carrying a a $26 Chinese copy of the maxped fatboy. This is holding up pretty nicely. but the remoras and rovers shape and carry method seem more comfortable. I'm not going into combat with the bag so i don't think i would have issues with another like this but if anyone has any recommendations that would be great.

I would check Amazon for an actual Fatboy S. Mine's held up very well, and should be comfortable to carry on a bike with the belt loop on back.

I use mine frequently not just for my EDC tools, but with a large collapsible dump pouch attached to carry heavy tools on and off the job site. Some of the tack stitching began to split from carrying the extra weight, but stopped, and hasn't spread in the 2-3 years I've owned this pack.

The Remora should be online for a similar price.

Check out Voo Doo Tactical, they are on the net. They make pretty good stuff and its very reasonably priced.

The Red Rock Rover is all over ebay for $35 shipped. I've looked into them myself for an EDC diaper bag, but im not sold on the quality. I know Maxpedition is quite a bit more money, but at least with any of there products i know it will last for years and years.

Let us know what you decide on and how you like it.

So far, my remora seems to be working out well. We'll see how I feel about it after a week or so. One thing I can say, I'm liking that there are multiple attachment points for the strap, which lets you get a better alignment and feel than say the Jumbo that just has the length adjustment. Adding a waist belt to the remora would be pretty simple.
Another option for you, if you are not 100% on the shoulder bag idea, maybe a smallish backpack, and drop in the medic pouch? or do you really want it on the outside?

Amazon sells a generic for the maxpedition fatboy called a tactical hipster for 19.99 I carried this bag for 3 years and still have it as a back up I have beat the hell out of it and it is still going strong . Amazon also sells a generic fatboy jumbo called a UTG tactical messenger bag It is what I have carried for the last year they are around $27. they aren't quiet as heavy as maxpedition stuff but plenty heavy enough if you on a tight budget

One Source Tactical has a TDI bag for 60 bucks I think, which might work for you. I may end up getting me one, but for slightly different reason then yours.
