What would you say is the best linerlock for EDC with a blade length of 3.25" or under?

I'm thinking about the MCusta folders, any other ideas?

Looking for smoothness, light weight and a decent steel.

do you want to include framelocks too?

I have a kershaw leek that has a great framelock.
They also have a bunch of liner locks under 3.25... like
the mini-cyclone... which I've been thinking about picking up myself.
They are using Sandvik 13C26 and from what I hear it's great stuff.

Benchmade makes great linerlocks from what I hear.
but... I don't think they have anything under 3.25".

What is your price limit?

I'd prefer not to include framelocks, I have several -but prefer a linerlock for EDC .

Price range, less than $160.

ahh... I know.... Al Mar Mini SERE!
It's on my short list of knives I want.

3" blade 4" handle.

I'll throw in another vote for the Lone Wolf Harsey T1. I love mine. The blade isn't perfectly centered, but it's smooth and locks up solid. I've hit the blade spine quite hard on the edge of a table (with some paper for cushion) and the lock doesn't budge. Love the design, the scales, blade shape, and blade to handle ratio. Feels great in hand and is comfortable to hold. Thick .060" liner.

MCustas are nice too. I hope to have a damascus one some day. Handled a couple, very smooth.

For a BM, take a look at the 690. Attractive, sleek, refined, and smooth. Liner's not quite as thick as the Lone Wolf, but a nice folder.
