Let's face it, Spyderco isn't a brand known for its good looks. In fact, those not in the know would probably describe Spydies as some of the uglier knives on the market.

We know better though. What do you think is the best looking Spyderco? Please post a pic so we don't have to hunt it down.

I'm rather fond of these:

KC Exclusive Orange G10 Positron

I'm lucky enough to own one of the Positrons, but sadly haven't had my hands on a Volpe or a Mamba just yet.

I'm sure there's plenty of others out there. Lets see them.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I've never thought Spyderco knives were bad looking.

I don't particular care for it in hand but I think the Rubicon is a great looking knife.

I think the PM2 looks fantastic, especially with the Blurple scales.

The Orange scaled Dodo looked awesome as well. Damn I regret selling mine.

Spyderco PPT. (Sprint please!!)

Obviously Nirvana.

Szabo. (Szabofly is sick too. I saw a real rainbow iridescent spyderfly).

(Thank you knifecenter for all the great pics!)

One more for the nirvana posted above. I think the fishhunter is sexy for it's lines, now if I only liked urine yellow as a handle color I would be tempted to grab one.

Their fixed blades are priced high compared to their folders, IMO, but they do have a few that look pretty good like the temperance and sprig.

Dudes . . . use smaller file sizes please . . . takes too long to load some of these photos.

anyway ,
some times I think the best looking is the Dragonfly in the British Green (ZDP-189).

Some times I think it is the Gayle Bradley One though I run hot and cold on the look of the blade it sure looks great when it is cutting something. I especially like the thick liners and spacers. Goes without saying the handles look great. Elegant BEEFINESS.

And then there is the Para 2 in Blurple (S110V) depends on the light I love it most of the time but some times I look at it and think "what was I thinking". Mostly I really like the blurple with the silver blade and clip very nice.

Beauty is indeed in the eyes of the beholder. I find it amusing that most of the knives listed so far are among what I personally deem the ugliest of the ugly, even for Spyderco. But that's okay, I don't generally buy knives to look at, and most of them work okay. I do like the looks of the original Poliwog, though.
