Best Low Price Knife Made in USA ?

Kershaw makes a bunch of great knives for 50$ and under that would fit the bill.

They've got a bunch of G10 handled, 14c28n fixed blades (like the Diskin hunter) that all come in under 50$ if you look at the right spots...

If I was going fixed blade, the Ontario SP1 looks like a solid blade for $45. And then for folders I would either go Skyline or Buck 110.

If you get the hankering for a traditional, most of your yellow delrin Case slipjoints can be had for under 45 bucks.

Fixed blades, Buck Woodsman and Buck Pathfinder.

I've gotten some pretty good Case knives recently for under $45 ($40 after rebates). I buy in person at a dealer in Missouri.

Original USA-made Schrade Old Timers are easy to come by, even 8 years after going out of business. The common and smaller folding models (104OT, 108OT, 34OT, 8OT...) are easily in your price range, even in unused condition and in original packaging.

I second the Case slipjoints, and then the Buck 110 for a lifetime, pass it on to your kids, and then on to their kids knife. A little large for an EDC pocket carrier, but a good all around animal gutter, skinner, general cutting knife that will last and last.

Blessings,

Omar

Kershaw Leek or Skyline for a folder. My experience with fixed blades is a bit more limited, but I really like my Becker BK-11 (or BK-14 if you prefer the Izula-style handle).
