Yea , not bad , nothing I couldnt do myself in a few hours though. That site does have some pretty cool looking knives though.

$35.00 does not seem to be too bad of a price considering the sheath is made by 'Survival Sheath'!

Can anyone tell what brand the machete is? The engraving is just a LITTLE too small for me to make out...

Funny, I just found a hardware store in town that caries some Tramontina blades...
 
Looks like a great deal for $35.00. Does anyone know what steel Tramontina uses?
 
I bought one of those packages. Laci told me that the $35.00 price was for military and LEO only, I had to pay $50.00, which wasn't bad. When I got it, the machete was not sharpened. He was very nice and sent it back to me; it had obviously been put on the grinder, but its still very dull. I didn't bother to send it back again and I haven't tried to sharpen it myself, since I got into HI Khukuris shortly after I got the machete.

I will say that his service was expemplary. Laci himself personally talked to me and told me to send it back and he included a bunch of "goodies" in the return box for my trouble. Don't take this as sour grapes. I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again, but most of his stuff is a little out of my price league. He seemed like a real nice and knowledgeable guy.
 
Aloha Gentlemen, there is a better deal than that one. Smokey Mountain Knife Works has the same machete without the sheath for $5.99. And The longer ones are still $5.99. web site is eknifeworks.com enjoy!
