Best Meterial For Applying Polish?

Just wondering what you guys use to apply semichrome polish to restore the luster to your knives. I'm not sure if napkins or paper towels would be safe, so I've been using a Hoppe's silicone cloth. I don't have access to any higher-tech tools, and my Dremel was ruined yesterday when water flooded the box that I keep it in :-(

I use 100% cotton, check your tee shirt drawer.

someone, (I think Esav) gave us a good idea to use those little sticky backed felt pads that go under chair legs and stick them to a paint stick or wooden ruler to apply your polish. Keeps your fingers out of the way!!:thumbup:

I just use a cotton wash clothe with mothers polish, works alright. I prefere a buffing wheel on a dremel type deal.
