Best method for sharpening a Becker?

I see people pushing the convex method, but is that a good method for the Becker BK knives? I have a BK9 and BK11 on the way, and am new to the knife world. Is there a simple sharpener I can use? Or should I use the convex method with some fine grit sandpaper and then a strop?

Links to items you've found to handle the job really well would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

If money allows it, buy a used Bark River, or something that is convexed. You can see the difference, and cut materials with both the Becker and the convexed edge.
From there, you can maybe decide which way to go.
I have different knives for different purposes. Hard use or fine cutting tasks. I prefer a convex edge on the cutters, my EDC knives, hunting knives. For the BK2, or ESEE's I like the angled factory edge. That makes them strong knives, you can be rougher on a Becker or ESEE, and they won't bend or chip as easy.

I like my GatCo diamond system w/ceramic finishing stone. 25 degree angle seems to be the ticket for me. I also just got a BK-9, BK-7, BK-2, 2 BK-13's & 2 BK-11's. They all will shave hair & paper now. A mill bastard file is a good investment as well, it will expedite the process if the angle is off or the grind on one side is way higher than the other.

Spyderco Sharpmaker on the 40 degree setting works great on my Beckers. It's a cheap and idiot-proof system.
