Hello folks,

I recently got a BM 806D2 axis AFCK 2, I really like it. In fact, I'm carrying it in my right pocket as we speak.
The BT2 coating on the blade has held up so far, but then i never cut more then plastic and cardboard yet.

I know, that as soon as the first scratch appears (there are already some spots, and I didn't even touch the blade   ), I'll be heading straight for my buffer and stuff to get the BT2 stuff off.

Then I read that it has a hard underlayer, which is also protective.

Now I don't really care for the colour of the blade (silver, grey or black), but I would like to keep a tad coating on for rust protection, but not enough to be scratches easy.

Sooo... what do i do? Use some rouge polishing compound on a sisal wheel? Scotchbrite wheels? polishing? Maybe there is a solution that removes the coating chemically? (I'm in europe, so gun shop aren't all around here :D )

Thanks for the help in advance folks,

greetz and take care, Bart.

OK staple scratch. .. Now I need an answer folks, or it's off to the scotchbrite wheel :D

I like the looks of BT2, but i like it less and less for users.

greetz and take care, bart.
