Best Movie I've Seen

Last night I watched "Somebody Up There Likes Me" starring Paul Newman and filmed in 1956. For one of Paul's first films he was amazing and the woman who plays his wife, her voice and demeanor could easily be mistaken for Penelope Cruz. Awesome acting on both parts. some of the later parts are very reminiscent of the first "Rocky" film along with the comedic lines salted into the serious scenes.

If you liked the original "Rocky" film, I highly recommend watching this movie.

incidentally, James Dean was originally cast for Paul's role but James died before filming began.

I watched it for the first time the other night and was surprised to find out that the Rocky movies were knock offs of it!!
Newman's character even had the same name, Rocky Balboa, he just fought under the name Graziano.
