I know there are lots of products out there, but does anyone have a current favorite which will do a superior job of lubricating, reducing friction, etc, yet won't attract a ton of dirt, dust, and pocket lint?

Non-greasy? 'White Lightning' Wax lube. It works well, but not nearly as good a lubricant as a small drop of 'SuperLube' oil with PTFE. Used properly, oils won't cause a problem with dust or lint. (Note the operative words 'used properly.')

Are you using lube for long term storage or fricition reduction? Polishing the steel blade will reduce friction; lubes will come off onto the object your cutting. You can use candle wax, or try some dry lubes. I use silicone spray (wally mart special), it dries quick but leaves a film. Also Moly Lube works well as a dry lube (I use it on firearms), but leaves a black film and is $$$. If you use your knife alot, you really dont have to apply lubes, the act of cutting wears away the edge and removes oxidized material, right!?

Friction reduction is my priority. What I want to do is have folders open as smoothy and easily as possible. For example, I have a new CS Stiletto type knife, but it feels a bit stiff and somewhat slow opening. It's the TI Lite model
