Best of the Best - Picture Archive

I had an idea a couple of nights ago when searching for pictures of some particular sebenzas. The idea is similar to the picture archive in the Busse forum.

Instead of putting up pictures of certain model types, I suggest we attach to this thread pictures of the the greatest looking woods and custom or unique graphics. We could ask Anne to make this thread sticky at the top of the forum.

I think it would be a great way for those new to sebenzas or old hands to see the great "body of work" that has been done so far.

For example here are some I'd like to look at every so often:

Mokume inlay
Calvry
Terrepin
TBG Celtic design
Roberts (Brazil?) CBB
Rocky Mountain
Lighthouse
Tress and moonlight

etc.

I agree. Then newbis can get an idea of how the SeBenZa can be customized. That would have helped me in the beginning!

Great idea!! I'm getting a CD from Wal-Mart on Saturday that includes pictures I took of of my plain regular small Sebbie and my regular small Sebbie with a unique graphic. I'm itching to post it. I always love seeing the various Sebbie incarnations.
 
The "Best of the Best"? That would be a single picture of the plain Sebenzas.:D

yeah, i myself dont own one but i have seen many and suddenly been looking out more and more for pics of sebbies (saved lots of pics to drool over :p). but i myself dont know how and what i can get done, but i'm slowly learning by reading through old posts. sounds good to me....:)
 
Me too. Over time, I have compiled my own collection of sebenza pictures, but its a bad thing. I find that I wind up LUSTING for other guy's sebenzas. If they knew what I was thinking about their Sebenzas, they would probably kill me:D

yah i think this would be a great idea i've just started getting full into sebbies and started a thread a little while ago in the gallery to try to get some pics so i've got a nice little folder of pics but i know there are many awesome unique ones out there that i'd love to see. so please do this:)
 
Terrepin's Sebenza blows me away!! The color and design are brilliant. I would like something similar with a coral reef done (I maintain a Marine tank and am a avid scuba diver) ;)

My 2 Sebenzas, a lg classic with snakewood and gold inlays and my lg regular with box elder inlay. Both as smooth as..... a baby with a very smooth butt. :eek:
