best outdoor chopper? japanese machete!

hey guys. I am really looking for something like Murray Carter's machete that he shaves with on youtube. I love this knife, although i cannot afford something like this at the time, so does anyone know anywhere i can get something close to this type of knife for maybe a better price? thanks so much

One Japanese company who makes traditional style knives that might have something for you is Kanetsune. Search and see if they have something similiar.

Also, there are several sites that sell traditional Japanese knives (mostly handmade) that should have something similiar - one is Japanwoodworker.

Finally, there was a gentleman in the For Sale are that lived in Japan that was selling a machete I think....

I just checked out that site. Pretty cool stuff, but i didn't see any larger outdoor blades. anywhere else? thanks
