I've being doing research and this is what I found.
I hope the sword guys here can give me some advice.

Hanwei - They have their Practical Kung Fu Sword, it's not the most authentic thing out there, but it's affordable. How's the quality?
Kris Cutlery - They have nice dao, but I was specifically looking for ox-tail style. But generally good quality comes outa KC.
Jin-Shi - Still kinda affordable, but not sure if I like his style of the saber. However his stuff is good quality. About $200+ with shipping.
Zhi Sword - there's quite a few, many are for "wushu" or just mediocre, but they do seem to have higher-end pieces that are more expensive. The folded steel ox-tail seems good, but is kinda expensive and weighs 1.94 kg! Holy crap! About $400+.
Huanuo / Mandarin Mansion / 7 Stars Trading Co. - They seem to all sell Huanuo swords, but the prices are gettin' steep here. However I do like their style of Ox-tail. Approx. $400+.
Zheng Wu / Qing Zhong - Now it's gettin' expensive... about $1400+, but very very nice ox-tail sword.

You guys have suggestions? Any vendors I overlooked that could be added to the list?

What, SPECIFICALLY do you want to do with it, and what kind of training do you have?

Best Regards,

Swing it, practice sword cuts and movements, destroy things with it. I have a bit of training with the Dao, enough that I know how to swing it, how to block with it, etc.. Not enough to call myself well-trained. I want something that I can use, have fun with, appreciate... and still like in years to come. I don't wanna break the bank, but in other words, a good investment, or a good sword.

Thanks!
