I do most of my shopping via the internet after reading reviews here, etc. I also like to leaf through catalogues at home for general enjoyment and when I'm in a place (to remain nameless) where the computer don't go.

Who has the best catalogues, most complete most interesting etc?

(If i'm in the wrong place, i'm sorry, i picked the general discussion)

A.G. Russell has a nice paper catalog with some reading in it

Smokey Mtn Knife works has a big catalog they send out , although it doesn't have many high end knives, mostly buck, case , gerber type and those Roy Rogers Red Ryder movie knives that everyone one should have :D

I enjoy reading the SMKW catalog, but dang you have to wade through a lot of crap to find something good. SMKW is at their best when they have interesting "warehouse finds" or closouts.

For overall quality, you can't beat AG Russell. Maybe not as many different knives as Smoky Mountain, but you never have to worry about whether the products are good quality or not. AG's catalog also has the best photography and printed pictures of any catalog I've ever seen.

Somehow I've also gotten on the mailing list for BudK. What a bunch of junk!

Atlanta Cutlery sends a printed catalog on occation. Not much of interest, other than the Khukris from the Nepalese armory purchase last year.

Knives Plus puts out a roughly 150 page catalog that has a mix of low and high end knives.

First time I ever got a catalog from them but it was probably because I have ordered from them over the net.
