I love to use paring knives, and find them more usefull than my folders in kitchen and around the house. My favorites are Victorinox and Opinel paring knives, although I have one Henckels ,Swibo and Wusthof knife. In my book and quality wise Victorinox and Opinel beat all of them with their 3-1/4 and 4 inch paring knives. What are other good paring knives, that are on par with Opinel and Victorinox,or even better that do not cost hundreds of dollars?I have seen Spyderco 4-1/2 inch utility kitchen knife, hos does that knife compare to Vics and Opinels?Any other good offerings?

I have heard alot of people love the shun classic parer. I have not used it myself but it does look to be just the right shape
