Have some extra money coming in soon, and looking to purchase my first Sebenza. I hear so much about this knife, I won't be content unless I have one.

Ebay seems to have a good selection, and so does True North Knives. Any other place I'm missing that has a good selection?

I'd go with TNK.. you'll get good service and you'll have your knife before you know it!You might want to call though...he gets knives in pretty regularly and they dont get to his gallery.I ask Neal if he had a Desert Ironwood Classic and he had one that he just got in that he didn't even post yet..I had it the next day! Now thats good service!! :D

Buy direct from CRK if they have what you want in stock. Usually theres a wait time though.

My latest Seb purchase came from Neil at True North Knives and service and shipping efficiency was above excellent.

Also, you can try Bladeart. They seemed to have a decent selection when I looked around their site a little while ago.

thanks for the comments....

I should be getting enough $$ to get a 2nd knife. Thought about adding a Strider PT to the mix. I know this is a Chris Reeves forum, but what do you think about a Sebenza and a Strider combo? Or forget the Strider and get two Sebenzas?

Funny you should ask...I just picked up one of each from TNK. A large classic Seb and an SnG Tanto.

It seems to be quite a preference thing with most people. Some like one company and not the other. I like and carry both but would probbaly give the edge to the Seb as my preference.

The fit on both knives is great but the finish on the SnG was somwhat lacking. The screws look like they have been pulled off a used knife as they were all faded and non-uniform looking.

I say try one from each brand and see for yourself how you like them. The good thing is that they're easy to sell on the secondary market if you find that you prefer one over the other.

Flat grind Sebenza and a PT work for me. Also can't help having Victorinox Farmer always handy. So many good ones...so few pockets. best wishes.

Striders are nice because that are made well and the finish they come with makes you not afraid to use them.I like the SNG-SMF size better.
As far as the buying of the Sebenza I have found that the best prices are from right here on the forums. If you only want to get it from a dealer give New Graham a look.

There's been two threads recently about Strider PT and sebenza. If you want a PT, you're taking a chance on gettting one that doesn't have to go back to the factory immediately..
