I've never owned a Swiss Army Knife before, and I figure it's time I try one. I'm just looking for something very simple, small, and slightly elegant. I've decided to get a Victorinox Classic SD in black. I've searched online for the best prices, but it seems that around $14-15 (including shipping) is the lowest price I could find. Is that a good price for this knife? I even checked Ebay with no luck. Where do you guys buy your Swiss Army Knives online? Thanks again for the help guys.

thats an ok price but for something that standard its best to try a place like walmart which may even have them on clearance.

Wal-Mart has them in RED for like $6.97 around here. I paid like 25 cents each for my black one's on eBay- but they were used, TSA confiscations.

Well.. New Graham has about $18 for a Tinker and Classic together, maybe you'd wanna take a deeper dive for you first SAK(s).

Target also carries them. I think they ar $10 for the classic and I think they have the Spartan/Classic combo for $20.

Unfortunately, I don't have a target near where I live. I tried to buy two from Armystore.com last night because they had 35% all Swiss Army Knives. I got an e-mail this morning that the black were out of stock. :grumpy:

You could always try Smoky Mountain Knifeworks. They usually have them in red or black for like 11 bucks or so. Lots of color choices.

If you don't mind used in excellent condition, send me a private note and I'll send you one, no charge.

Tim,
Really classy guy. You care about the work you do and the people you work with! I have purchased several from Tim over the years and this is a A+ guy to deal with.

Consider a MiniChamp if you can find one at BigLots; got a couple last weekend for $12 each. Hardly larger than a Classic, but more tools and an extra blade.
