Yep, definitely Going Gear.

Just watch...this thread will have a lot of that response, might as well go ahead and order. A lot of us have been using Going Gear for some time now. I've yet to see a better mischmetal ferro rod. I am going to buy some more blanks to make with some antler handles too.
 
Going Gear. Just got a few more. I ordered them on Monday and got them two days later. Fast service! FYI I am on the other side of the country as them...

Yep, they're just a 30 minute drive from me...and I still order on line lol. Need to ride down there soon though.

Good suggestion with the striker, though. I like them if I don't have my lucky rock on me. :thumbup:
 
I have bought mine at firesteel.com, however I would not be opposed to ordering from either them, or going gear. Make sure to get the super striker as well, 10 times better then a hacksaw blade.
 
Bought mine from GoingGear too. Don't forget to use the blade forums code for 10% off!

I purchased the 4" 3/8 rods to replace the rods in the ESEE firekit. :thumbup:
I also picked up the fire strikers, well worth it.
