Best place to buy SAK

I'm planning to supply my buddies each a SAK before we go on a camping trip, I've been pricing them and the best deals appear to be Amazon and Walmart, I was wondering if there was another place with better or equivalent prices to these giants?

I get them at Sierra trading post (sign up for the email specials & you get 30%-40% off). Or ebay.

And I've acquired my favorites, pre-1954 SAKs, off ebay from guys in Switzerland.

Oooooh -pre-1954 SAKs. Now we're talkin'. I used to work a lot of gun shows and whenever things got slow at our tables I liked to roam around all of the knife dealers tables (especially the "old guys"). You never knew what was hiding in those display cases. I found some very cool old SAKs (Wengers and Vics) Sierra Trading Post does run some great deals now and then.

Just checked, STP is low on SAKs now. They have some good sales, but selection is hit and miss).

The old ones are absolute tanks. And like holding a piece of history (yeah I know they sat in a drawer for 60 years)! Sorry for the hijack...

Haha, all good, I'm getting into them more and more. Thanks for the tip, I'll definitely sign up for the mailing list.

I buy most of my Vic SAKs at that big knife store in eastern TN that's named after a park. I tend to visit every couple of months and a SAK or two is usually included in my purchases. They carry a large selection, but you can almost always beat their prices. Plus I have to pay sales tax on top of that.

Ebay is the best place to look if you don't want them brand new and still in their boxes/cards. If you buy used and have a little patience you only pay about a third of store price. The only shortfall is you should inspect and clean them before giving them out.
