Hey al - Looking to purchase a pre-made strop with compounds pre-loaded or at least included for me to apply. Looking for any and all recommendations for a newbie. Thanks in advance.
 
Keith, of Hand American, has moved. You may now find his most excellent products at "Chef knives to go". He has the best stuff, and anything you need.

No question about about it; HandAmerican strops and compounds are all anyone needs.

Thanks guys - really very nice of you. I'm sure some remember when we had a bit of trouble getting orders out the door on a timely manner. Having Mark at CKTG distribute most of the line has been great.

We do the leather processing, mix the compounds, etc and get the products to Mark and now orders go out the same day.

I hate letting people down, can't tell you how disturbing it was when things went haywire and I appreciate the support.

Sometimes the Bladeforums crowd can be a little tough, but also very fair and considerate. A guy gets a fair shake here, honest competition is welcomed and frauds are quickly weeded out. Can't ask for more than that.

The name 'Chefknivestogo' might be a bit misleading - they have a wide assortment of common and rare stones along with other knife related items as well and the service is outstanding.
