I've looked around in a bunch of different places and the cheapest I can find it is at Katerno.com for $145, and I have no idea as to the shipping. I know you guys have researched it, where would you go to get one?

Thanks for looking.

...Katerno.com for $145...

I'm honestly not sure about that site. Their prices seem too cheap and they sell a bunch of random things it would make me nervous ordering from them.

For me, it's worth spending a couple extra bucks to know I'm ordering from a trusted site.

Any of the sites from here would be great: http://www.eseeknives.com/onlinedealers.htm

Take a look and see which one you'd prefer and order with confidence.

Another Washingtonian! Been seeing alot more of us lately. Buddy $150 on ebay, received it in two days, he shipped it 5hrs after purchase. I think there's rules about posting internet store links, but send me a visitor message and I'll tell you where it is.

I don't know about katerno they always seem to have the lowest prices on google but then most of the time it's out of stock very fishy.

I think that anything up to 170.00 is still a good price for the knife you would get with the Junglas. I don't own one but for the amount of blade and knife you get I might pick one up sometime down the line. I would be very careful with Katerno. I think they are one of those drop ship places. Everytime I research a knife on Google they always pop up with the best price. I have yet to find that they actually had the item in stock.

They really raise my red flags. Not to disparage or anything. I have just gotten to the point that I don't mind paying a few bucks more to have the peace of mind of knowing it will get to me. Your mileage may vary though. try Jim Howe over at Howes knife shop. He's a good guy and a great dealer. I think he carries ESEE products. I have done some pre-orders from him and bought several Spyderco and BHK knives and he is awesome to deal with.

$160 with free shipping is very do-able. If you are having problems finding a reliable vendor let me know.

If you are just buying the Junglas on it's own, theknifeconnection.com has a fantastic price as it includes shipping. However as shipping seems to be built into the pricing, you can do better if you are buying a bunch of knives at once.

If you are going to buy the Junglas with other blades, newgrahamknives.com cannot be beat as you just pay $8 in shipping for all the knives you buy.

So it depends if you like to buy em on their own or in groups :D

Just bought mine from Chestnut Ridge Knives. $158.99 shipped. It was $7.00 shipping for the first knife and $$3.00 shipping for the the second or more. My Junglas was shipped yesterday. Good communications with the company also.

The cheapest price is not always the best price.. I purchase from dealers whom have proven themselves time and time again. I much rather pay a little more and feel protected incase something goes wrong with shipping or the knife itself. Nobody is perfect and even my favorite dealers make mistakes, but it's how they handle their mistakes that makes them my favorite dealers.

Fenix outfitters (they don't carry ESEE, but they have went above and beyond for me)

+1 to Knives Ship Free and The Knife Connection.
Both offer free shipping and supreme service. Junglas just isn't a cheap knife, that's all there is to it man.

God bless,
Adam

When we’re got several reputable dealers with free shipping, you’ll find their prices are quite competitive. I’m guilty myself of looking for an item and Google Shopping it Price Low to High. I did that over Christmas with an OtterBox, what a PITA that turned out to be. I’d check one of our dealers and the e-auction place.

I got mine a month ago for $160 with free shipping from a top rated seller on Ebay. Check Ebay out for sure. You'll find lots of respectable sellers there. By the way, if your seller for $145 checks out GO FOR IT! like others have said, really anything under $170 is a great price.

L.I.L., I ordered my first ESEE knife from Jim back in October (Junglas). Ordered on Friday @2:30pm, was at my P/O Monday morning. Great guy, great service, very competitive prices. But best of all, he has FREE SHIPPING on his orders. Spoke with him on that Friday for over 90 minutes about everything from knives to grandchildren . . . :)
You can't go wrong with him or his company. Have ordered 4 other knives since, & two more will be on their way this week. Same great service & shipping on all the other orders as was on the first one.
Be safe.

Yeah I really can't say enough good about Jim. He communicates well and his customer service is top notch. The free shipping is a bog bonus too and it's not the kind of free shipping where they jack up the price of the knife 10 bucks to offset the shipping. He is the ones I go to anytime I need a knife before I check anywhere else. Plus it's good to see a mom and pop operation thrive. With all the big dealers out there swallowing up business I like to deal with the little guy.

Hate to be a jerk folks but the last time I checked deal spotting was a forum no-no.

Deal spotting is, But dealer location isn't. Of course it could just be some random trolling, but some people, shockingly to us, hesitate before dropping $150 on a knife. They just want to know they're not getting screwed. I'm ok with that, and I think the rules are too.

Personally, I split my purchases between TKC and KSF. Both great guys. crystal falls is becoming my go-to for odd BRKT stuff, and wetterlings.

DO NOT GO FOR THE CHEAPEST PRICE. You'll get screwed. spend the extra $30 bucks and be sure.
