I’m coming to the end of my roll of heat treat foil and looking to get more. Where have you guys found offers the best price for the 309 flavor? Thanks guys - JT

A while back I found on ShimStockStore.com what I though was a heck of a deal. I was unable to complete checkout for some reason (their website having an issue?) so I ended up ordering elsewhere. Maybe check them out and see if you have better luck.. When I need more ill try it again

Trugrit.com has it in 2' X 50' X 0.002" size at $1.69/sq ft. Jantz has it in the 1' X 25' X 0.002" size at $2.80/sq ft. if my math is correct :-) Those are the only places I know that have it.
Hope this isn't deal spotting.

eBay right now is some 309 24x.002 x50 for $185 free ship, use promo code PICKFAST for 15% off today only untill 8pm I believe. Out the door at $157.25 = $1.57 per sq foot..

I just ordered some from Amazon; a search for 309 stainless foil finds it. ~$1.85 / sq foot, but free shipping. Also some prime options.

What is the high temp variety? I still have a bit of foil left, but I think that it is the lower temp stuff.
Edit. 309 is the stuff.

That's 321. 321 does work for most things. I bought 100' of 24". I will get a 25' roll of 309.
I looked it up and notice the working temperature range difference that I hadn't seen before. Luckily I haven't had any issues with the 309 yet.

I use the 321 for thermal cycling, sub critical anneal, etc. I have also used it to wrap Ferry flip billets and it surived the first welding press but fell apart on the second one. Lasted just long enough.
The 309 is the higher temp version. The 321 is about half the price and is good up to 2k.
