Michael, When I was shopping for a Foredom I found RioGrande had the best prices. They are fast with their service too.

Mike... Grasshoppa...

Can I make a suggestion? Spend you money on a Gesswein unit or another rotary tool. The Fordoms are nice, but you will find they are not as useful for sculpting and all that as you think. They have a relatively low RPM and that means they will jump and skid a lot. Higher PRMs like above 35,000 are better and more stable. The trouble is that you actually need both because the Foredom has the torque and power the high-rpm machines do not.

sounds good again Higgy. i'll look into em. all i know is George Dailey uses a foredom and thats all the advertisement i need. he does some damn good work. GeorgeDailey.com if ya havent seen it.
i'm not looking into too much sculpting. i dont' think i have the talent you do. From what i've seen you can handle a grinder. i'm just looking for some general polishing, setting it up as a drill press etc. thanks though i'll keep looking into the Gesswein grinders. if they perform like you say they do i might as well spend the extra dough and get a good one huh?

I got that new dremel the other day.... the rechargeable lithium battery. It only goes up to 3000 rpm while the others go to 3500 but the grip is much better to me that the pen types......

I have one foredom, a dremel, and a black and decker and the black and decker has alot of power and torque.....

Daniel
