Best price on Lum Chinese Folder?

Best prices I've seen are around $120, which is about 30% off of MSRP. I doubt you'll do better than that, unless you're friends with the dealer.

It is a fairly pricey knife, so even after discount it will still be a bit steep. But if you want all of those refinements ya gotta pay for 'em. I did.

Whoa! Does anyone know if that first production run is exactly the same as what they're making now? Eccentric pivot, etc.?

I don't know if the design has changed or not but that price at triple is only for the serrated version. If that's what you want great but it looks funny to me on that knife. Some knives just "need" plain edges!

The knife is so new that I think there has only been a single production run so far. So the bit about "First" is just hype, and as Gregg says, that price is just for the serrated version (an SKU that could have been done without, I also think).

I ordered one (plain edge) about two weeks ago from here
http://www.bladeforums.com/ubb/Forum8/HTML/003362.html
for $99.99 plus shipping (< $6 ). Got it a week later, everything went very well. He only has a limited # in stock, and you have to call the toll free # to order.

That's the best price I've seen on a new plain edge Lum Chinese. There was another dealer selling them for $110, shipped, but I don't recall who it was at the moment.
