Can anyone tell me where to look for the best prices on a Surefire E2E and an Arc-LS? The holidays are coming and I need to buy some presents, but I'm not very flush right now. :(

Besides the usual places, I recently tried a new place for me:

www.eastcountyguns.com

Andy was very easy to work with and the whole transaction went very smoothly and quickly. Also, he has the lowest prices I could find on the net, period. Last time I looked, I think he added a buck or two to the "elite" line prices.

Try Tim at noreastknives@bigfoot.com

His prices are pretty keen for SF.

The ARC - LS... shanme you missed the seconds sale. Mine was $49.95.

Having said that, why bother, stick a KL1 on the SF E2eHA for about 40 odd and away you go...

Another vote here for Tim. He's my "drug dealer" of choice :D

Unfortunately, he's been off on a *long* trip, and is buried under about 500 emails. I hear from "another place" that he's getting to the orders RSN.

(incidentally, my order? You guessed it. E2e HA and KL1. It started out as an E1 HA. I'd better not tell him I might be interested in A19 and KT2 to err upgrade my 6P. He'll sell me an M6)

I thought I wanted one black poloshirt from him.
He's sorted me out with several grey ones that I knew I really wanted really.

I believe I started off with an E2, then an E2e, then an E1e, and a KL1.

Tim's the Prince. My SureFire Dealer.

Al  :D

I am more interested in having as compact a light as possible than having the brightest. Something with a little more power than the Arc AAA appeals to me, but I suspect even a SureFire E1E is really too large for my tastes. The CR123A configuration of the Arc LS looks like it might be a good compromise. If I'm going to carry something as big as the E2E I'd want the higher-intensity bulb.
