I was just wondering if anyone would recommend the Boker V-42 Combat dagger. I have heard mixed reviews on its quality, but for 75 bucks it seems like a pretty decent deal for a fully functional replica. I'm also considering picking up their M3 trench knife. I don't know much about their heat treat or manufacturing process though. I suppose given the purpose of a combat dagger it isn't designed or intended to do much beyond penetrate soft tissue, so no matter what I assume they would do their job. And any blade from a reputable company in that price range would surpass the quality of the originals. Also if anyone would be up for it, please upload a pic or two if you have either!

Well, the more research I do the more I find that these replicas are pretty much crap. The only one that does it right and that is truly functional is the original handmade Case retailing at above 400 bucks, way out of my price range. But the New CRKT Sangrador has caught my eye for a new modern combat dagger.

Ontario makes an M3 trench knife for around $50, and Ontario's quality is good.
