I want to remember someone picking up a sweet Straight Handle Steel Heart from a seller at the show one year, the price escapes me but it was a song, very cheap.

That hammered AD is nice! I love the look!

I've scored quite a bit of steel at Knob Creeks since I started attending in 2007, and while my pick of "best" would vary from one day to the next, I prize the unusual, so here are a couple. While probably not to everyone's taste, Garth made this Arctic White Groovemaster with hand shaped black G10 handles for me and delivered it at the Fall 2009 KC:

I also picked up this Desert Sand Pork Belly Skinner at that show:

It was sitting off to the side because the price tag had fallen off in transit from the shop; several folks were interested, but everyone thought that somebody else must have set it aside as their stash. I asked Garth about it, and he said that he'd put it there until he could make a tag for it, so it was mine.
