Back in early 09, I was helping Reese Weiland sell off a collection of one of his friends. Some of you probably remember "Lotsa customs for sale". One of the knives was an early Florida Black Knife pre Ox Forge days made by Reese Weiland and Ron Miller. The guy only wanted $100 for it. I sold it last year for $300. It was sterile.

My CRKT M1. Half of MSRP, and worth much more for all the abuse it tolerated. I've retired it, but it still walks and talks like out of the box. Just a little more scratched up...

Bid $234 on E-Bay for a 1 of 14 Busse Clip Point Desert NO-E. Bid was way below reserve, and I thought I was just making noise. Later I got a
"Second Chance Offer" message that I was high bidder when the sale ended. This was so low-ball that I E-mailed the seller and offered to cancel the deal with no hard feelings on my part. She said no, the offer stands, so I bought it. We are talking a $600 or better knife here.

Later traded it for a Busse Ruck Kensai, which has shot up even more in resale price, not that I would sell it. Maybe my heirs will.

Picked up an unused, with box Lone Wolf T2 for $100 at a gun show a couple of months ago. I've probably gotten a few better deals here on the forum, but that's the latest I can think of.

Just missed paying $125 for a Surefire Delta on Craigslist a couple of weeks ago.

got a black blade lum chinese on some auction site for about 85. i remember those going for about 120 when they were still being produced.

Either my first RJ Martin Q-36 which I got off Ebay at a good price or a few years back or when I bought a Microtech MTX-2 off of Gunbroker for about a quarter of what they are going for now.

I was given my Kershaw Tilt (DLC) by Thomas for free so I'd say that's got to be my best score. Second has to be my XM-18. I paid $400 cash and threw in an Emerson (bone stock production, not custom) I never carried for it at ECCKS. Thought I got a hell of a deal considering this was on the secondary market.

Last summer I picked up a NIB OD Buck/Strider 889 for $69.99 at a sporting goods store in Moses Lake, WA. Last fall I got a Ranger Green Strider SMF in new condition for 10 ozs. of silver that I bought pre-Y2K @ $6.50/oz. Total cost to me was $65.00.

I picked up a CTS20CP para 2 for $150 when they were going for $200+. I got a Benchmade 910 for free. I bought a benchmade 755 nib for $125 off ebay which I traded for a zt551, which I traded for a NIB Benchmade 630 skirmish.
