Hi all,
I noticed the other day that my Benchmade Rittergrip MK-1 is rather dull. This is my first knife in S30-V so I'm not sure how best to touch it up. I know I can send it back to Benchmade for thieir Lifesharp service and they'll re-sharpen it to factory edge for me, but I think it just needs a touch-up before I send it off. I've had it for two years and haven't had to sharpen it yet. Any suggestions for the best way to sharpen this knife, and the best pocket-method to sharpen it as well?

Thanks in advance!

2 years and no sharpening

That knife's gotta look like a butter knife....

Do you want stones or a system?

How much are you looking to spend?

Have you done any research on the subject of sharpening?

if you have several knives and want to touch them up or put a new edge on all in a few minutes time, check out the paper wheels. for around $100. total you can get set up. the wheels run on a motor. here is a link you can check out. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=578787 i sharpen a lot of knives with them and i have a set thats going on 19 years old and still going.
